I was asked recently by the lovely people at Regtransfers to spend the morning with them to photograph Gok Wan with his new number plate.
What a genuinely nice guy and a joy to photograph, he made my job very easy which obviously comes from all of his experience in the various medias that he has worked in. His new number plate was CLO7HES which was perfect for Gok and his background in the fashion industry.
Photographs were required at different angles with two number plates and in total I had approximately 40 images that I spent several hours editing. Adobe Lightroom is just so versatile when it comes to editing images with adjustments for tones, shadows, selective colours and sharpness.
After the photoshoot, I assisted with the recording of the interview for the magazine. This was really interesting because Gok's story was fascinating to listen to, from his early childhood days being brought up in Chinese restaurants in the Midlands, his love of business, DJing and his television work.
To read the full interview pop over to the Regtransfers website and request a free copy of their magazine which is full of stories from the World of Personal Number Plates and exclusive collections of registrations currently for sale, which quite apart from the prestige, represents enormous investment potential. Readers of the World of Personal Number Plates also receive a discount when purchasing private registrations with the unique code inside.
